Cooking Classes
at The Prairie Table

Classes are limited to 20 participants. Classes can be either demonstration or hands-on participation, or both. A waiver must be signed for participation in hands-on cooking.

All classes begin at 7:00 pm unless noted.

Classes require advanced registration and full payment at the time of registration. You may cancel up to 5 days prior to a class to receive a full refund.

Thursday, May 8 Sushi Fusion III Jon Howes, Sushi Fanatic $29.99 In this class, Jon will again show you that raw fish doesn't always have to be served in that typical sushi fashion.  Come experience Jon's twist on this classic dish.  This is a hands-on class and availability is limited.

Sushi For Beginners Johnny Kohls, Prairie Table Staff $29.99 Johnny will start from the beginning.  He will show you how to prepare rice, how to make rolls, nigiri, and temaki.  This class is hands-on and has limited availability, so sign up quick!

Chilled Spring Soups Katherine Habley $24.99 Katherine will show you how to prepare delicious cold soups like; Cold Cucumber Soup with Fresh Mint, Cream of Asparagus Soup, Vichyssoise, and Chilled Strawberry Soup.  Ditch those hot soups this summer and try one of these yummy cool concoctions.
Wednesday, May 28 Wine and Cheese Pairing Morgan Weiss, Prairie Table Sommelier; and Robert Fromm Prairie Table Chef $29.99 We will once again be doing this classic pairing, and again, we will be bringing in new delicious items.  So, if you've tried it once(or even twice), come and try it again.  Everything will be brand spankin' new.
